About the Role

A well-established Architecture and Design firm located in Edmonton, Alberta seeks a skilled and motivated Architect to join their innovative team. The firm boasts a diverse project portfolio and places strong emphasis on exceptional design standards and client service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Senior Architects to create schematic and conceptual designs.
• Work jointly with technologists, architects, and designers to plan workflows and develop practical solutions addressing technical and design challenges.
• Produce detailed technical drawings and construction documentation.
• Prepare and deliver presentations showcasing design concepts and drawings.
• Maintain professional and cooperative relationships with all Project Team members.
• Participate actively in team meetings to resolve project-related issues including coordination among disciplines, schedule management, and technical problem-solving.
• Communicate effectively and professionally in both verbal and written formats at all times.
• Utilize Revit and various other software tools within a collaborative team environment to meet project goals, generating inventive design ideas and solutions.
• Preference given to candidates with some postgraduate experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduation from a Canadian university program in Architecture or a minimum of five years professional experience in the field.
• Eligibility or ongoing process to register with the Alberta Association of Architects (AAA).
• A robust portfolio demonstrating a passion for modern, sustainable architectural designs.
• Strong communication skills combined with the ability to meet deadlines reliably.
• Capability to contribute across all phases of project development.
• Cooperative team member who enjoys collaboration and is committed to shared project goals.
