Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Architect to join BHIMA JEWELLERY MADURAI in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing conceptual designs, detailed schematic layouts, and comprehensive construction documents utilizing BIM and CAD technologies. This position requires hands-on involvement, including site inspections and close collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure construction quality and adherence to building regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs, schematic plans, and detailed construction documents with BIM and CAD software.
• Perform regular site inspections and walkthroughs to assess construction progress and workmanship, ensuring alignment with architectural blueprints.
• Address on-site technical issues such as clashes, structural concerns, and engineering queries promptly during construction phases.
• Serve as the main liaison among clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and engineering consultants to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Ensure all designs and construction activities comply with local building codes, zoning requirements, and safety standards.
• Review and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, material specifications, and contractor change orders effectively.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in using architectural software including Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp within current BIM workflows.
• Comprehensive understanding of building materials, construction techniques, structural systems, and project cost estimation.
