Role Summary

The Architect position at ProArch Design Build is a full-time role based in Thiruvananthapuram, offering a hybrid work model that includes some remote work. The main duties involve crafting architectural concepts, producing detailed plans and 3D representations, and aligning designs with client specifications, financial constraints, and schedule targets. This role requires collaborating with the construction and interior design teams to ensure that design intent is preserved throughout execution and projects adhere to quality and regulatory norms. Responsibilities also include site inspections, conducting design reviews, engaging regularly with clients to refine designs, troubleshoot challenges, and facilitate smooth project completion. The Architect will actively contribute towards advancing internal design workflows and adopting technologies to boost project productivity.

Key Qualifications

• Advanced competency in architectural design including development of concepts, spatial planning, detailed drawings, and knowledge of regional building regulations.
• Experience managing projects through multidisciplinary team coordination, timeline and budget supervision, and overseeing the transition from design to construction execution.
• An understanding of seamless integration between design, construction, and interiors to achieve coherent project delivery with minimal implementation gaps.
• Collaboration skills to work alongside software development or technology teams to enhance the use of design tools like BIM, CAD, and visualization software.
• Proficiency in industry-leading design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalents, complemented by excellent visual, technical, and analytical abilities.
• Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or an equivalent professional credential; licensure or registration as an architect is advantageous.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of effective work in hybrid environments while interacting confidently with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Previous experience in residential or design-build projects, especially within the Indian, and Kerala context, is considered highly favorable.
