Role Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Architect to join our diverse team. The role involves developing architectural projects from initial concept through schematic and design stages, collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to achieve superior architectural outcomes. Candidates should have a passion for design, technical proficiency, and experience managing project milestones within collaborative settings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create architectural designs progressing from preliminary concepts to detailed design phases.
- Develop architectural drawings, documentation, and visual presentation materials.
- Collaborate closely with structural, MEP, landscaping, and other consultants during design phases.
- Ensure projects comply with client requirements, local regulations, and building codes.
- Participate in client meetings, design workshops, and presentation sessions.
- Assist in preparing submissions to authorities along with supporting technical documentation.
- Support project managers in adhering to schedules and delivery targets.
- Review drawings and coordinate necessary design revisions throughout project progression.
- Generate detailed architectural and construction documents where needed.
- Continuously update knowledge on industry trends, emerging design technologies, and sustainability best practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- 4 to 8 years of professional experience in an architectural consultancy environment.
- Experience in residential, hospitality, commercial, mixed-use, or master planning projects.
- Strong grasp of architectural design principles, construction techniques, and relevant local codes.
- Preference for candidates with experience working in the GCC region.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Skilled with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience with SketchUp modeling.
- Preferably familiar with Rhino software.
- Competency in visualization tools such as Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, or equivalents.
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of AI-driven design and productivity tools is a plus.
