Apprentice Sales Assistant

About the Role

If retail excites you, this is an excellent opportunity to join Savers Health Home & Beauty as an Apprentice Retail Sales Assistant located in Glasgow. This role involves a dynamic range of daily tasks and is perfect for those with a positive and proactive attitude who enjoy collaborating as part of a team. The focus is on creating exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high store presentation standards to uphold the Savers brand reputation. Apprentices will also engage with their local community, offering customers competitive deals and establishing strong store presence.

Training and Development

Training is conducted entirely within the store over the first year, so there are no college days or homework requirements. At training completion, apprentices participate in a review discussion and an observed practical assessment. Continuous guidance will be provided by both the store team and an assigned tutor to support achievement of the Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship qualification.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have enthusiasm for the products sold, thrive in a fast-moving retail environment, enjoy teamwork, and have a customer-first mindset.

Eligibility Criteria

• Attainment of a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent), including English and Maths, or Scotland National 4's
• Not currently enrolled in any educational program and available for full-time work
• No prior Retail Apprenticeship completion
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Experience new to retail sector
