Team Overview
The Information Technology division is vital to Millennium's success and expansion. Its dynamic, multi-manager approach requires adaptable, scalable technology systems and sophisticated proprietary tools, including leading-edge analytical and trading platforms. The Core Technology group maintains critical system infrastructure supporting Treasury, Middle Office, Operations, Finance, and Compliance. Within this, the Core Technology Support & DevOps Team works with a contemporary technology stack featuring Python, Scala, Java, Angular, Kafka, and AWS environments.
Role Responsibilities
- Offer daily operational support for various Millennium LP systems.
- Provide hands-on assistance to enhance software deployment processes and improve user experience.
- Manage end-to-end project deliveries related to Middle Office and Operations systems.
- Implement process optimizations using automation and AI technologies.
- Lead efforts in onboarding applications within the team's platform infrastructure.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in a technical support capacity within financial services or investment management sectors.
- Keen interest in a sustained career at a top-tier alternative investment firm.
- Preferably holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a connected discipline.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, strong analytical thinking, and effective teamwork.
- Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency.
- Meticulous attention to detail with consistent and organized task execution.
- Capability to handle multiple priorities efficiently and adapt rapidly to a fast-moving environment.
- Experience working with AWS cloud platforms and AI tools considered advantageous.
