Team Overview
The Capital Development & Investor Relations group manages and nurtures a wide array of prospective and current investor relationships through meticulous engagement throughout the limited partner lifecycle. This position, based in Singapore, involves relationship management and client development for Millennium's Asian investors and prospects. The role may include regional travel and will heavily focus on responding to investor inquiries, organizing roadshows, and coordinating communication with the New York-based Investor Relations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day assistance and support to Millennium’s existing investors across Asia.
- Collaborate with the local Capital Development team to devise strategies for expanding prospective client outreach in the region.
- Support the planning, preparation, and execution of scheduled roadshows across key business hubs within Asia.
- Maintain regular interaction and coordination with the global Capital Development and Investor Relations teams through weekly meetings and other communications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry laws and regulations governing capital development activities within the region.
Candidate Profile
- Possess an excellent academic and professional track record.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have over 15 years of experience in marketing or client service roles within hedge funds, banks, or similar financial or asset management firms.
- Comfortable engaging with diverse investor types, including sovereign wealth funds, institutional clients, high net worth individuals, family offices, pension funds, and funds of funds.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Capable of working independently while also thriving within team environments.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Adaptable to dynamic industry environments and entrepreneurial settings.
