Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct tendering and prepare bills of materials for cable channels, containment systems, and cable ladders.
- Ensure accuracy in delivering techno-commercial solutions along with engineering drawings and submittals.
- Manage technical aspects of purchase orders from drawing preparation to bill of materials creation and production release.
- Compile final project documentation in line with customer order document requirements.
- Coordinate with local assembly teams to resolve technical queries ensuring smooth order execution.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and quality departments to enhance product offerings, design, quality, and processes.
- Prioritize multidisciplinary tasks including specification reviews, product selection, pricing development, and proposal creation.
- Participate in cost reduction initiatives and localization of materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of four years of relevant professional experience.
Skills and Expertise
- Ability to interpret electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and cable routing plans.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various cable tray types such as ladder, perforated, and wire mesh, along with materials like GI, stainless steel, aluminum, and FRP.
- Familiarity with industry standards including NEC, IEC, NEMA, and BS concerning cable management systems.
- Proficient in preparing detailed Bills of Materials and performing cost estimations for cable tray systems.
- Experience designing cable tray layouts considering factors such as load capacity, spacing, and supports.
- Skilled in preparing technical submittals and addressing client or consultant feedback.
- Experience managing incoming inquiries with close coordination with the sales team to provide optimal customer solutions.
- Ability to review customer RFQs, drawings, and specifications to define supply scope.
- Expertise in product positioning and cost optimization to satisfy client requirements and international standards.
- Effective coordination with factories for special product inquiries, including local assembly and customized adaptations.
- Background in international operations across EMEA, familiarity with standards and specifications of clients like ARAMCO, ADNOC, and ONGC.
- Industry knowledge in data centers, onshore/offshore oil & gas applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Effective communication, teamwork capabilities, and proficiency in MS Office, SAP, AutoCAD, E3D, and SolidWorks software.
