Job description
Overview
The Application Delivery Manager leads the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for Malomatia’s tailored application development projects. This position manages the software delivery teams and maintains high standards throughout all SDLC stages. Working closely with the Practice Leader of Application Development & Management, the role focuses on elevating deliverable quality, driving continuous process enhancements, and advancing team competencies to align with organizational goals and client expectations.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience in IT management centered on application development or package implementation.
- At least 8 years of experience leading Scrum teams and projects throughout all SDLC phases.
Technical Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in delivering custom applications primarily using Java and/or .NET frameworks.
- Proficiency in integration solutions including development of eServices with multiple integration patterns and technologies such as APIs and microservices.
- Good knowledge of cloud environments like Azure, GCP, or AWS, alongside familiarity with cloud-based services and deployment models.
- Experience incorporating DevOps principles encompassing containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Understanding of software quality assurance practices and methodologies tailored for high standards.
- Expertise in project delivery applying both traditional Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
