Overview

Key Duties

As a member of the Visitor Assessments Team, you will assess and facilitate recreation, ecotourism, and organized events through permits and authorities that protect Queensland's heritage. You will interpret legislation and departmental policies, coordinate with regional rangers, central offices, external stakeholders, and clients to sustainably manage protected areas and state forests. Your responsibilities extend to participating in the development and continual improvement of tourism and visitor management strategies.

Candidate Profile
