Job Overview

We are currently inviting applications for a Specialist Anesthesiologist to join our prominent healthcare institution located in Dubai, UAE. This position calls for an expert in anesthesia administration and perioperative care, spanning a diverse array of surgical operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform detailed preoperative evaluations and formulate tailored anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional, and other forms of anesthesia, ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.
• Continuously monitor patient status during surgeries and interventions.
• Handle intraoperative emergencies efficiently to stabilize patients.
• Manage postoperative pain and oversee patient recovery phases.
• Provide anesthesia services for both elective and urgent surgeries.
• Care for patients with complex health conditions requiring specialized anesthetic management.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams, intensivists, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
• Keep precise and comprehensive anesthesia and treatment records.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and participate actively in departmental functions.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

• Possession of MBBS or an equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate credentials such as MD, DNB, DA, or equivalent in Anesthesiology.
• Preferably at least three years of experience after specialization.
• Proven expertise in both general and regional anesthesia techniques.
• Exceptional skills in patient evaluation, clinical decision-making, and handling emergencies.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate well in team settings.
