About the Role
We are inviting applications from skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologists to join a premier health institution in the United Arab Emirates. Candidates should possess substantial expertise in administering anesthesia and overseeing perioperative care for individuals undergoing cardiac and major cardiothoracic surgeries.
Key Duties
- Deliver comprehensive anesthesia management specific to cardiac and cardiothoracic operations.
- Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations and formulate tailored anesthesia strategies.
- Administer and supervise both general and regional anesthesia as dictated by clinical situations.
- Oversee the care of patients with significant cardiac risks throughout the perioperative timeline.
- Provide anesthesia services for complex interventions including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repairs/replacements, and other major cardiac procedures.
- Continuously monitor patients' hemodynamic and physiological status during surgeries.
- Handle complex intraoperative and postoperative emergency scenarios effectively.
- Offer perioperative patient management in cardiac and cardiothoracic intensive care units.
- Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, critical care experts, perfusionists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Maintain detailed anesthesia documentation and uphold patient safety standards throughout surgical care.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Medical degree equivalent to MBBS.
- Postgraduate qualifications such as MD, DNB, or DA in Anesthesiology.
- Preferably hold additional fellowship or advanced training credentials in Cardiac Anesthesia.
- At least 3 years of experience post-specialization in cardiac anesthesia preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in cardiac and cardiothoracic anesthesia practice.
- Strong clinical decision-making and crisis management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team setting.
