The Role
We seek an Android developer responsible for creating the native Android experience of KIRA’s AI Finance Agent. This role suits individuals passionate about crafting seamless user flows, optimizing performance, and delivering high-quality, dependable mobile features to real users.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Android features primarily using Kotlin.
- Design intuitive mobile workflows encompassing insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and various financial services.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify intricate user journeys.
- Integrate backend APIs to ensure stable, secure, and trustworthy mobile operations.
- Enhance application performance by reducing crash rates, improving loading times, responsiveness, and managing memory effectively.
- Utilize analytics, monitor user behavior, and address production issues to continuously improve the product.
- Create AI-enhanced mobile experiences that meaningfully enhance user interactions.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years Android development experience using Kotlin.
- Solid understanding of Android fundamentals with proven experience delivering production-ready applications.
- Familiarity with Jetpack libraries, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architectural patterns.
- Keen sense of mobile user experience, handling edge cases, and designing user flows.
- Experienced in integrating RESTful APIs and troubleshooting issues in live environments.
- Strong ownership, ability to execute swiftly, with meticulous attention to product quality.
- Portfolio items such as app links, GitHub repositories, screenshots, or examples of completed projects are advantageous.
