The Role
KIRA is seeking experienced Android developers to create the native Android app experience for their AI-driven financial assistant. The ideal candidate prioritizes creating seamless user flows, optimized app performance, and reliable product delivery that serves real customers effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and release Android features using Kotlin.
- Design intuitive mobile workflows involving insurance, payments, claims, policy renewals, and other financial services.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify intricate user journeys.
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring app stability, security, and reliability.
- Optimize app performance by reducing crashes, improving load times, responsiveness, and memory efficiency.
- Leverage analytics and user feedback to continuously enhance the product.
- Implement AI-powered mobile functionalities cautiously, only when they add authentic value to user experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Android development experience primarily using Kotlin.
- Strong foundation in Android development with a record of delivering production-level apps.
- Proficiency with Jetpack components, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architectures.
- Deep understanding of mobile user experience, usability challenges, and edge case handling.
- Experience with REST API integration and troubleshooting live application issues.
- High-speed execution, strong personal ownership, and a commitment to high-quality deliverables.
- Portfolio links such as GitHub repos, app store listings, or screenshots showcasing previous work are highly advantageous.
