Role Overview
We seek Android engineers passionate about crafting a seamless native Android app experience for KIRA's AI-powered Neobank application. Ideal candidates emphasize fluid user interactions, efficient performance, and the delivery of reliable mobile features serving real customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Android features utilizing Kotlin.
- Design intuitive mobile workflows across insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and other financial services.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to streamline complex user journeys.
- Integrate and maintain stable, secure backend API connections ensuring dependable mobile operations.
- Enhance app responsiveness, reduce crashes, optimize loading times and memory consumption.
- Leverage analytics, user feedback, and live issue monitoring to continually improve the product.
- Implement AI-driven mobile functionalities selectively when they meaningfully enhance the user experience.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Android development with Kotlin in production environments.
- Strong grasp of Android fundamentals and proven experience shipping apps.
- Expertise in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary Android architecture patterns.
- Keen understanding of mobile UX, usability challenges, edge cases, and user flow design.
- Proficient at REST API integration and troubleshooting issues in live applications.
- Demonstrates rapid delivery, thorough ownership, and commitment to high-quality product outcomes.
- Portfolio examples such as GitHub links, app store listings, or screenshots are highly beneficial.
