Job description
Role Overview
Join Kāinga Ora to play a crucial role in enterprise transformation through workforce data analysis. As a People Data Analyst within the People Systems and Intelligence team, you will deliver insightful analytics and reports supporting leadership decisions amid significant organisational change, especially in Technology Modernisation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide workforce analytics, reporting, and insights aligned with technology and organisational transformation efforts.
- Assist in workforce planning, organisational design, and assessing impacts on people during change.
- Analyze workforce trends, capability needs, employee turnover, capacity, and organisational risk factors.
- Create metrics and reports to track change readiness, technology adoption, and benefits realisation.
- Convert complex workforce-related data into accessible, actionable information for leaders and stakeholders.
- Support responses to Official Information Act, ministerial, parliamentary, and external requests with precise and timely workforce data.
- Identify and drive improvements in people data quality, reporting processes, and intelligence capabilities across Kāinga Ora.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with leadership, People & Capability teams, and programme stakeholders to facilitate successful change outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in people analytics, workforce reporting, business intelligence, or related data analysis roles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Proficiency in producing reports, dashboards, and insights that inform decision-making.
- Strong communication skills geared toward clear and understandable presentation of data findings.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and develop trusted relationships.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement in workforce intelligence and data capabilities.
