Analyst - Cyber Threat Intelligence

Overview

This role is focused on supporting the client’s Digital Defence Center by conducting research and delivering insights on emerging cyber threats that may impact the client’s personnel and assets. The analyst will play a strategic role in shaping threat protection approaches.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or business-related fields.

Certifications

• Proficiency with Threat Intelligence Platforms such as Recorded Future, Flashpoint, Blueliv, Anomali, ThreatIQ is required.
• Preferred certifications include GIAC certifications (GCIA, GCIH, GFCE, GCFA, GMON, GDAT, GCDA), CREST Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst, CREST Certified Intrusion Analyst, or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP).

Experience Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of overall professional experience, with 3 to 5 years relevant to cybersecurity roles.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical roles involving Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Security Operations, Threat Hunting, Penetration Testing, and Red Teaming.

Skills and Tools

• Practical knowledge of Cyber Kill Chain methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms.
• Expertise in Digital Forensics including custom tool and script creation.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret system, security, and application logs.
• Experience with offensive security tactics and tools such as Metasploit, exploit development, and OSINT techniques.
