Aircraft Mechanic - IFE Base

Overview

This role involves providing maintenance and repair work for In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems on aircraft, following approved technical guidelines, company standards, and safety protocols. The Aircraft Mechanic will be accountable for timely completion of assigned maintenance tasks, ensuring operational readiness and maintaining top-tier quality consistent with the airline’s 5-star standards.

Key Duties

• Deliver comprehensive aircraft maintenance services aligned with operational directives.
• Conduct rigorous inspections and tests on aircraft components and systems to assess quality and performance.
• Identify and address defects in cabin systems, including engines and structural elements, such as wings and fuselage.
• Perform repair, replacement, and rebuilding of aircraft parts, including hydraulic units and rigging systems.
• Implement modifications on aircraft structures, systems, or components based on technical drawings and engineering orders.
• Interpret and apply guidance from aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documents to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant technical experience.
• Practical expertise in technical maintenance within a related operational environment.
• Proficient knowledge of heavy cabin and IFE system maintenance essentials and associated skills.
• Capability to assess equipment for required maintenance, perform necessary repairs, and control operational functions.
• Adaptable to expanding responsibilities as needed.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Comfortable and effective working in multicultural teams.
