Role Overview
The Air Import Agent plays a critical role in ensuring the prompt and precise handling of freight shipments and information flow while delivering outstanding customer service. The role requires managing shipment logistics, processing freight, and maintaining operational accuracy in compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare shipment documentation.
- Route and manage freight receipts.
- Process and monitor shipments according to operational standards.
Work Environment
- Operate standard office equipment including computers, phone, fax, copier, and scanners.
- Primarily desk-based tasks requiring writing and computer use.
Qualifications
- Understanding of the global logistics sector.
- Proficient computer skills such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Fluency in English.
