Role Description
The Air Export Agent role involves operational responsibilities primarily focused on processing air export shipments and managing the associated documentation. Core tasks include tracking shipments, preparing and processing various shipment documents (house and master air waybills, commercial and customs documents), entering data accurately and promptly into systems, dispatching freight, and ensuring effective communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams worldwide. Maintaining robust relationships with service providers like airlines and trucking companies, adhering strictly to compliance requirements (internal policies, government regulations, and client needs), and meeting key performance indicators to drive departmental and organizational objectives are vital aspects of this position. The role also involves proactively seeking process improvements and participating in mandatory annual training sessions totaling 52 hours.
Qualifications
- Between six months to one year of relevant experience or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
- Knowledge of air freight documentation is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to listen effectively, understand, and convey information clearly aiming for positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated organizational abilities and proactive mindset.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- IATA certification is preferred.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
