Job description
Overview
We are looking for a proactive and meticulous AIQ Engineer to be part of our Quality Control Laboratory team located in Cork, Ireland. This full-time, on-site position is pivotal in maintaining the reliability and regulatory compliance of Laboratory Systems supporting pharmaceutical production.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ELM team members to deliver IT components for laboratory capital projects.
- Create, review, and approve documentation related to laboratory systems.
- Coordinate with site teams to gather requirements and develop configuration specifications as well as IOQ test protocols.
- Participate in risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Deploy system content and provide training to end users.
- Demonstrate understanding of quality control’s critical role in pharmaceutical manufacturing by performing tasks with high integrity.
- Adapt and deliver additional related duties as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in supporting IT applications is essential.
- Familiarity with 21CFR Part 11 regulations and data integrity guidelines is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems including Windows 10, 11, and server variants.
- Prior exposure to QC laboratory systems support is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude with excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills including time management and prioritization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
