Job description
Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients to collect requirements and gain a thorough understanding of payroll-related business processes.
- Architect and deploy Workday Payroll integration solutions, including both inbound and outbound interfaces, data conversions, and custom reporting.
- Configure Workday Payroll system settings and parameters to meet client-specific needs.
- Create and update integration documentation, covering technical specifications, design outlines, and testing plans.
- Conduct unit tests, system tests, and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for payroll integration components.
- Diagnose and resolve integration issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
- Deliver continuous support and upkeep for current Workday Payroll integrations to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Keep informed about the latest Workday product updates and integrate new features into existing systems as appropriate.
- Provide training and guidance to client teams on Workday Payroll integration workflows and recommended practices.
Requirements
- Preferably hold Workday HCM and Payroll certifications.
- Demonstrated experience in Workday Payroll integration projects, including Extract, Load, and Transform (EIBs), Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.
- Deep knowledge of HR and payroll process workflows, compliance guidelines, and regulations.
- Strong expertise in Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and other integration development tools within Workday.
- Familiarity with web service technologies such as SOAP and REST, as well as XML and XSLT for integration purposes.
- Excellent communication skills capable of effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.
- Proven analytical skills and a detail-oriented problem-solving approach.
