AI/ML Engineer

About the Role

Itsybizz AI Private Limited is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join their Delhi-NCR team. This position is open to candidates with either one year of relevant experience or fresh graduates. The core responsibility is to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models that address technical and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement machine learning models based on defined requirements.
• Clean, preprocess, and analyze data sets for machine learning usage.
• Perform feature engineering and prepare data for modeling.
• Train, evaluate, and test machine learning models using suitable metrics.
• Utilize machine learning techniques including regression, classification, clustering, and recommender systems.
• Develop foundational deep learning solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Work on Natural Language Processing and Generative AI tasks when necessary.
• Experiment with large language models, prompt engineering, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation approaches.
• Integrate trained models into applications using REST APIs.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and scalable Python code with proper documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to models and applications to enhance performance.
• Support deployment and monitoring of machine learning models across development and production environments.
• Keep abreast of advancements in AI, machine learning, and generative AI technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Either fresher or up to 1 year of hands-on experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related areas.
• Strong programming ability in Python.
• Solid grasp of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and workflows.
• Practical experience with Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Fundamental knowledge of deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation techniques.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data querying.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub version control tools.
• Basic insight into RESTful APIs and deploying ML models via APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with tools such as Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks and vector database technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Basic knowledge of Docker containerization and MLOps practices.
• Experience from academic, personal, freelance, or professional AI/ML projects.
• A portfolio or GitHub showcasing AI/ML related work.

Education

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
