Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Deeply comprehend core functions, user demographics, and use cases of diverse AI tools including writing, image, and voice technologies.
• Develop and refine prompt designs based on practical workflow analysis, iteratively tuning prompts to enhance performance.
• Translate complex product logic and user requirements into well-organized prompt strategies aimed at boosting response precision, utility, consistency, and controllability.
• Perform evaluations of prompt efficacy through limited-sample trials, metric tracking, and gathering user feedback, driving continuous improvements with measurable success.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Machine Learning/Algorithm, and Design teams to ensure alignment of prompts with product features, maintaining quality and stability in vital user pathways.
• Document reusable prompt methodologies and best practices to create an internal resource base aiding rapid expansion across the product line.
• Stay updated with cutting-edge developments in large language model (LLM) technologies and compare outputs from models like GPT, Claude, ERNIE Bot, and Qwen to select or adapt optimal prompting techniques per context.
• Engage progressively in model fine-tuning initiatives and optimizations such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), and Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA), blending product insight with model enhancement capabilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computational Linguistics, or related STEM disciplines.
• Strong grasp of LLM concepts and constraints coupled with practical experience in prompt engineering or a well-founded understanding of prompt design methodologies.
• Exceptional product acumen oriented towards user goals, product positioning, and authentic usage scenarios to design and optimize prompts effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clearly and structure output tone, format, and structure precisely.
• Proficiency with basic data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, and Python to measure and interpret prompt performance.
• High proficiency in English (minimum CET-6 level) capable of understanding technical documentation and debugging prompts written in English.
• A strong intellectual curiosity and quick learning ability, motivated to evolve as an "AI application builder" by integrating business insight with technical model knowledge and continually enhancing LLM output in real-world product contexts.
