AI Solutions Architect Pre Sales (UAE)

Role Overview

The AI Solutions Architect in the pre-sales team is a senior, technically skilled professional who creates credible enterprise AI solutions and demonstrates their viability. This position involves engaging with various stakeholders for technical discovery, designing architectures, developing prototypes, preparing estimates, and delivering presentations leveraging Microsoft AI technologies. Candidates based in either UAE or India are eligible.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive technical discovery sessions with business, data, security, and technology teams to translate priorities into qualified AI use cases and solution specifications with realistic project plans.
• Architect secure and scalable AI solutions including generative, agentic, conversational AI, intelligent search, document intelligence, and AI-powered applications, primarily using the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
• Create functional proofs of concept and accelerators using production-grade patterns to prove feasibility, user experience, integration, and business value, beyond simple mockups.
• Lead the technical components of RFPs, RFIs, and proposals, including defining architecture, solution documentation, scoping, assumptions, dependencies, non-functional needs, effort estimates, components, and risk assessment.
• Define and implement patterns for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), grounding, tool usage, memory management, orchestration, evaluation, observability, and human-in-the-loop systems tailored to each use case.
• Evaluate model and platform options based on quality, performance, security, data residency, responsible AI, and cost factors, explaining trade-offs clearly to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Present solutions in workshops, reviews, demonstrations, and bidding sessions; address detailed inquiries from enterprise architecture, security, and procurement audiences.
• Collaborate with account, industry, and delivery teams to identify reusable assets, shape opportunities, and highlight unique differentiators while managing scope expectations.
• Support technical due diligence, implementation planning, and transition post-award ensuring proposal commitments are feasible and clearly handed over for delivery.
• Stay current with Microsoft AI products, reference architectures, licensing, and emerging agentic AI patterns; develop reusable pre-sales assets.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least ten years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, AI/ML engineering, or enterprise solution consulting.
• Minimum five years’ hands-on expertise designing and implementing generative AI systems with large language models, including enterprise-grade retrieval-augmented generation and AI agent technologies.
• Proven record in delivering AI or advanced analytics beyond prototypes, with deep knowledge of production engineering, security, monitoring, and operational support.
• Strong programming skills in Python and working familiarity with APIs/SDKs; experience in C#/.NET is a plus.
• Comprehensive understanding of LLM application methodologies such as prompt/context engineering, embeddings, vector/hybrid retrieval, tool calling, structured outputs, agent orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Experience integrating AI with enterprise applications, databases, document stores, APIs, and identity management systems.
• Expertise in cloud security including Entra ID, managed identities, private networking, secrets management, RBAC, data privacy, and responsible AI governance.
• Demonstrated client-facing skills in discovery, presenting solutions, technical writing, estimation, and creating proposals for complex enterprise solutions.
• Ability to produce architectural diagrams, sequence flows, assumptions, sizing models, and detailed implementation plans within proposal deadlines.
• Excellent English communication skills, capable of challenging requirements constructively and explaining complex technical concepts simply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as Azure AI Apps and Agents Developer Associate (AI-103) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or equivalent.
• Experience working within regulated or government sectors, familiar with security assessments, data residency and hybrid/private cloud integrations.
• Capability to estimate Azure AI consumption, throughput, search capacity, infrastructure and licensing for commercial proposals.
• Background in creating reusable AI accelerators, reference architectures, or demonstration environments for consulting or pre-sales tech teams.
