Business Unit Overview

The AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE) serves as the core hub for AI strategy, product development, and broad adoption. It establishes governance standards, cost and risk controls, orchestrates AI Factory teams to build custom solutions and reusable frameworks (including LLM and RAG stacks on Azure), offers technical consulting on architecture and best practices, and leads workforce transformation through training and upskilling to fast-track AI integration across service lines.

Operating within IFS, the AI CoE collaborates with Design Experience and adjacent technology teams, adheres to structured operating models and RACI guidelines, and supports proposals, demonstrations, and delivery with emphasis on unique outcomes and trusted leadership.

Role Contribution

In the capacity of Project Manager/Scrum Master, you will oversee coordination and successful delivery of AI and Generative AI projects using Agile methodologies. Responsibilities blend project management, sprint facilitation, stakeholder coordination, and governance to ensure execution excellence. You will partner closely with Product Managers, Architects, Engineers, and business stakeholders, ensuring commitments are met, risks anticipated, and teams perform efficiently within the AI CoE framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Support backlog grooming and ensure readiness for upcoming sprints.
• Monitor sprint progress and team deliverables.
• Identify and resolve obstacles affecting timely delivery.
• Advocate Agile best practices and promote continuous team improvement.
• Enhance sprint predictability, quality, and team performance.
• Create and manage project plans, milestones, and timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between business and technical teams.
• Track progress against schedules and deliverables.
• Manage dependencies, risks, assumptions, and issues, escalating as needed to ensure resolution.
• Analyze historical project data to identify bottlenecks, forecast delays, and preempt budget overruns.
• Support project governance and compile status reports.
• Serve as the communication hub between stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring alignment on expectations and commitments.
• Facilitate delivery of AI, GenAI, automation, analytics, and digital transformation efforts.
• Ensure adherence to AI CoE delivery standards and governance protocols.
• Prepare weekly status updates, dashboards, and maintain project documentation including action logs and RAID registers.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3 to 8 years of experience in project management, Scrum Master, PMO, or Agile delivery roles.
• Proven track record managing technology, AI, data, analytics, or software development projects.
• Strong experience operating in Agile frameworks.
• Capability in coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP).

Technical Skills

• Project scheduling and risk/issue management.
• Stakeholder communication and status reporting.
• Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
• Facilitation of Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI and Generative AI concepts and product delivery lifecycles.
• Understanding of software development life cycle and cloud/data platform basics.
• Practical experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, and Microsoft 365 Suite.
