The Risk Consulting team provides a comprehensive suite of advisory solutions such as Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Governance and Compliance, Internal Control over Financial Reporting, Process Intelligence, and Technology Risk & Cybersecurity, aiming to help organizations strengthen resilience and trust by aligning objectives with regulation and mitigating various risks.

Role Contribution

The Senior Associate position involves collaboration with management to resolve complex business challenges from strategy formulation through to execution. Key duties include becoming a trusted advisor on risk and internal controls, managing audit engagements and team communications, enhancing internal control frameworks, and ensuring adherence to compliance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an advisor on risk and control topics to clients
• Coordinate audit activities from planning to completion, tracking timelines and firm KPIs
• Collaborate with clients to elevate internal control maturity and risk mitigation strategies
• Identify risks, establish audit methodologies, and propose process enhancements
• Develop and maintain client relationships and pursue new business opportunities
• Manage engagement budgets and economic outcomes
• Lead teams and maintain stakeholder communication
• Support internal audit planning, execution, and administration
• Perform compliance, financial, and operational audits and test internal controls
• Document audit findings, assessing impact and recommending improvements
• Contribute to innovation and enhancement of internal audit and risk control services
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members
• Maintain compliance with quality and independence standards
• Engage in continuous learning and digital skills development

Candidate Profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Governance, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CRMA, CFE, CGRCP, PMP, or CMA are advantageous
• At least 3 to 6 years of progressive experience in internal audit, preferably within a Big Four firm
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and report writing abilities
• Fluent in both Arabic and English, written and spoken
• Skilled in business development and client relationship management
• Ability to challenge conventional approaches and foster collaborative teams
• Technical expertise in governance, risk management, compliance, and audit methodologies
• Experience assessing and testing business control design and effectiveness
• Project management proficiency, capable of leading engagements and liaising with senior leadership
• Familiarity with audit technology and data analytics tools is a plus
