About the Role
Join an innovative financial services institution in the UAE focused on building a digital-first, AI-powered banking platform from inception. This is a rare chance to contribute at an early phase and help design the foundational technology, data, and AI infrastructure for a bank backed by robust institutional support and ambitious growth plans.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain model-serving infrastructure and inference platforms, supporting MLOps and LLMOps capabilities on Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Develop and manage AI platform services including agent runtimes, large language model gateways, vector databases, and orchestration systems.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code practices, crafting CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments using tools such as Terraform, Helm, and GitOps.
- Ensure secure AI infrastructure by enabling identity and access management, network segmentation, secrets protection, and governance frameworks.
- Provide observability solutions including monitoring, scaling strategies, and disaster recovery planning for AI workloads.
- Optimize GPU resource usage, manage inference workloads efficiently, and control AI platform costs while maintaining high reliability and performance.
Requirements
- At least six years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, MLOps, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability engineering.
- Proven expertise in managing cloud infrastructure in Azure and/or AWS environments.
- Strong skills in Kubernetes, Docker containers, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, and CI/CD automation tools.
- Experience with AI/ML platforms such as Databricks, MLflow, model-serving systems, or GPU-based computing environments.
- Knowledge of large language models (LLM) platforms, vector databases, AI gateways, agent-oriented frameworks, or other AI infrastructure technologies.
- Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated industries is highly valued.
