AI Architecture Senior Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an AI Architecture Senior Manager to spearhead the strategy, design, and execution of large-scale AI platforms and system architectures. This role focuses on enabling the integration of cutting-edge AI technologies such as Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and multi-modal AI models across the enterprise. You will be responsible for defining the ideal AI architecture, guiding technology selections, and building scalable, secure, and governed AI infrastructures that accelerate innovation and enterprise-wide adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously refine enterprise AI architecture strategies, frameworks, and standard reference models, specifically addressing Generative AI, LLMs, and multi-modal AI technologies.
• Evaluate new AI technologies, platforms, and architectural approaches to guide choice and adoption at organizational level.
• Plan and implement comprehensive AI transformation roadmaps that lay down scalable AI foundations within the company.
• Design and operationalize complete AI platform solutions covering model creation, deployment, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Lead integration efforts of AI and machine learning technologies with data platforms, MLOps environments, cloud infrastructure, security policies, and governance models.
• Create custom AI platform components tailored to meet specific complex business and technical needs.
• Optimize computing resources, model serving technologies, and distribution of AI workloads ensuring high scalability, performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Set enterprise-wide AI operational policies including observability, monitoring, performance management, and ensuring platform robustness.
• Embed Responsible AI principles, security, privacy protections, risk management, and compliance controls across AI implementations.
• Collaborate with business units and technology teams to establish AI governance frameworks, architecture protocols, and best practices.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to architecture, engineering, and data science teams engaged in AI projects.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in AI architecture, enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, data platform solutions, or related technology leadership roles.
• Demonstrable capability in designing and deploying enterprise-grade AI/ML platforms and advanced AI applications.
• Comprehensive expertise with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), multi-modal AI models, and associated ecosystem technologies.
• Significant experience working with cloud services including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud encompassing their AI/ML offerings.
• Strong background in MLOps, AI platform engineering, model deployment, and lifecycle operationalization.
• Proven experience with AI security frameworks, governance, regulatory compliance, and Responsible AI implementation.
• Leadership experience influencing senior stakeholders and technology direction.

Preferred Experience

• Track record in establishing enterprise AI foundations, AI Centers of Excellence, or driving AI transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and progressive AI architectural patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerized environments, distributed computing, and high-performance AI infrastructures.
• Expertise in AI platform observability, performance tuning, reliability engineering, and cost optimization.
• Outstanding consulting skills, stakeholder management, and executive communication abilities.
• Preferred certifications in Cloud Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Enterprise Architecture.
