Job Location and Type
This role is based in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria, requiring full-time onsite commitment.
Position Overview
We are looking for an Admission Officer with expertise in the international study admission process. The ideal candidate will guide students through study abroad opportunities, providing professional advice and managing admission applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer expert counseling to students on educational choices including country and program selection for overseas studies.
- Manage the admission processing for students aspiring to study abroad.
- Respond to queries through email, telephone, and face-to-face meetings, ensuring clear communication with clients about their admission process.
- Conduct follow-ups on prospective and existing student leads, and participate in relevant events and seminars for outreach.
- Build networks with students to provide career counseling, generate leads, and support business development initiatives.
- Meet and strive to exceed assigned admission targets.
- Contribute to the creation and distribution of marketing materials and overseas education content, including managing a biweekly newsletter to prospects.
- Support senior management in designing and executing marketing and advertising campaigns, with detailed action plans targeting specific professional groups.
- Perform other related duties assigned by senior management concerning overseas education.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold an HND or BSc degree in a relevant field.
- Possess a minimum of one year experience in admission processing with documented achievements.
- Demonstrate a results-driven mindset able to perform under pressure to meet goals.
- Exhibit excellent spoken and written English proficiency alongside fluency in local languages.
- Have strong communication skills to engage effectively with colleagues, students, and the public across varied demographics.
- Display initiative in self-learning and researching optimal study options for students.
- Be adaptable with working hours as needed.
