Admission Counsellor

About the Role

Aakash Educational Services Limited is seeking an Admission Counsellor based in Kochi, Kerala. This role involves guiding students and their parents through the available educational programs such as NEET, JEE, and Foundation courses, helping them understand the benefits and details while aiming to convert inquiries into enrollments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide tailored counselling to students and guardians on Aakash courses and career pathways.
• Identify student requirements and suggest appropriate programs that align with their goals.
• Clarify course formats, fee structures, scholarship examination processes, and batch scheduling.
• Manage various inquiry sources including walk-ins, phone calls, and online leads.
• Conduct consistent follow-up communications with prospective students.
• Ensure data accuracy by updating the CRM system regularly.
• Meet monthly and quarterly admission targets through effective conversion of leads to admissions.
• Collaborate with academic and operations teams to facilitate smooth onboarding procedures.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with students and parents, addressing their questions and concerns promptly to uphold a positive perception of the Aakash brand.
• Support marketing efforts by engaging in seminars, school visits, education fairs, and promotional events including scholarship tests.

Candidate Requirements

• Exceptional communication, presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Highly goal-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable admission results.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive interactions with students and families.
• Educational qualification: Any graduate degree.
• Preferred experience range between 1 to 6 years in educational counselling or sales roles.

Compensation and Additional Information

The monthly salary range offered for this position is between 35,000 and 85,000 INR.
