Role Overview
Operating from the Kilkenny office, Howden Ireland invites applications for the position of Administration Executive. This full-time, office-based role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the team, playing a crucial role in organizational operations with opportunities to advance to handling client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently uphold best practices to serve client interests effectively.
- Support Account Executives through diverse administrative tasks including preparing submissions, data entry, document scanning and distribution, managing mid-term adjustments, finance-related duties, and other tasks as assigned.
- Coordinate with Credit Control regarding financial matters as needed.
- Prepare daily company mail for collection and monitor post arrears with weekly updates.
- Comply with all company policies including those in the Employee Handbook and Procedures Manual.
- Abide by Health & Safety regulations.
- Manage diaries effectively using company systems to ensure customer satisfaction, compliance, and quality standards.

- Highly organized with exceptional time management skills.
- Capable of working independently, meeting deadlines, and thriving under pressure in a busy environment.
- Innovative thinker who values collaboration.
- Flexible, driven to achieve results, and willing to develop professionally to reach Account Executive responsibilities.
- Committed to learning, aiming to obtain an insurance qualification such as the APA in Personal General Insurance within 12 months.
- Possesses 1-2 years of prior administration experience preferred.
- Previous experience in the insurance sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
