Ad & POS Clerk

Overview

Bi-Mart, a trusted community retailer in the Northwest for over 70 years, is seeking an Ad & Point of Sale (POS) Clerk to join the team at its Ellensburg, WA location. This role involves multifaceted responsibilities centered around managing retail pricing, promotions, inventory presentation, and customer service to create a superior shopping experience for all customers.

Role Responsibilities

• Implement and manage price modifications, including daily label printing and hanging.
• Establish Store Promotional Prices (SPPs), set monthly pricing post-offs, and develop advertising sales plans.
• Conduct Automatic Replenishment System (ARS) audits alongside other ad-related audits to ensure inventory accuracy and system compliance.
• Post signage for advertisements, organize and face merchandise on shelves, and participate in stocking.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by management to support store operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience performing ARS and ad audits to maintain merchandise records.
• Capability to efficiently print and display daily price labels, maintaining clean and orderly merchandise presentations.
• Dependability with punctual arrival and a positive, friendly workplace demeanor.
• Skill in prioritizing tasks and organizing daily workload effectively.
• Problem-solving aptitude with a focus on customer satisfaction and solution delivery.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience in bookkeeping, stocking, or retail environments is advantageous.
• Prior work history with retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons considered a plus.

Working Hours

The store operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Schedules may vary according to workload and assignments.

Compensation

The hourly pay ranges from $17.15 to $19.65. Pay is disbursed bi-weekly with an option for on-demand payments.
