Account Manager

Position Overview

As an Account Manager at Rent-A-Center in Selma, AL, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a portfolio of rental accounts, delivering top-tier customer service, and driving business growth. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounts and cultivate strong relationships with customers
• Perform early-stage collection efforts for accounts 1–6 days overdue and achieve daily and weekly collection goals
• Ensure account health by securing payment arrangements using management tools
• Complete scheduled routes for merchandise delivery, pickups, and customer follow-ups
• Provide exceptional customer service in-store, via telephone, and at customer residences
• Drive sales growth by acquiring new rental agreements
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise
• Keep showroom and company vehicle standards up to date
• Follow all company safety regulations and operational procedures

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication capabilities and customer service aptitude

Physical and Schedule Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy items
• Capability to drive a box truck
• Capacity to stand and drive for prolonged durations
• Full-time schedule: Monday through Saturday, with Sundays and one weekday off
• Physically active role involving bending, lifting, and standing
