Role Overview

We seek an experienced Account Manager or Territory Manager eager to advance their sales career. This new position focuses on managing strategic customer relationships within the custom extrusion and glazing sectors. You will spearhead sales initiatives, collaborating with glazing fabricators, custom die owners, and raw material clients to find growth opportunities and offer both technical and business solutions that foster durable partnerships and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize and uphold health and safety standards as a fundamental focus
• Develop and nurture strong, trusted relationships with key accounts in custom extrusion and glazing markets
• Identify and convert new business opportunities, including projects related to custom extrusion
• Maintain a robust pipeline of projects and opportunities using CRM platforms and tracking tools
• Collaborate with customers to comprehend their specifications, technical needs, and industry trends
• Coordinate closely with internal departments such as sales, marketing, supply chain, and product development
• Represent the company at trade fairs, customer meetings, and industry forums
• Manage pricing, margins, and commercial outcomes in alignment with business objectives
• Ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and development of account plans

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable track record in account management within construction, building materials, glazing, or fabrication sectors
• Exceptional skills in building relationships, negotiation, and influencing stakeholders
• Commercially savvy with a strategic, growth-oriented, and solution-focused mindset
• Technical understanding of specifications and manufacturing processes is highly advantageous
• Well-developed organization, planning, and time management capabilities
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a wider team
• Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
• Possession of a valid New Zealand Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel as required
