Account Manager

About the Role

We are seeking motivated individuals to join Rent-A-Center as Account Managers, a position that offers significant career development opportunities. This position centers on managing rental accounts by exceeding customer service expectations, driving sales of new products, managing account performance, fulfilling deliveries and pickups, and ensuring store quality and early collections.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage a designated portfolio of rental accounts, nurturing and sustaining robust customer relationships.
• Perform early-stage collections focused on accounts 1 to 6 days overdue, achieving daily and weekly collection goals.
• Maintain the financial health of accounts, securing payment pledges by leveraging account management resources.
• Execute scheduled routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-up visits efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service in-store, by phone, and at customer residences.
• Support sales growth by generating new rental agreements.
• Safely handle, transport, and install merchandise.
• Keep showroom environments clean and orderly and ensure company vehicles are well maintained.
• Comply with all safety protocols and operational procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license accompanied by a solid driving record.
• Excellent communication abilities coupled with strong customer service orientation.

Physical Demands

• Capability to lift and maneuver heavy items.
• Proficiency in driving box trucks.
• Ability to stand and drive for prolonged durations.

Work Schedule and Environment

• Full-time schedule, primarily Monday through Saturday.
• Guaranteed Sundays off plus one additional weekday off.
• Role involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, and standing.
