About the Role
Launch your career with a rapidly expanding SaaS technology firm specializing in the evolving field of indirect tax compliance and e-invoicing. We seek motivated and customer-focused individuals with technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join our Inside Sales team as an Account Development Representative (ADR). You will report directly to the sales development manager.
This role offers exposure to engaging with potential clients across multiple international B2B and B2C sectors. With access to advanced technology tools and continuous coaching, you will develop expertise in outbound sales techniques and our SaaS solutions, setting the stage for advancement into sales closing roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target relevant prospects within key industries across EMEA, operating during 3PM-11PM IST.
- Conduct structured outbound outreach to engage prospective clients effectively.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads using varied channels.
- Develop deep knowledge of Avalara’s products and services to support sales efforts.
- Gain proficiency in navigating this specialized, complex marketplace.
- Maintain consistent contact with current and potential leads through innovative follow-up communications designed to boost interest in our offerings.
- Encourage prospects to participate in webinars, certification programs, and industry events.
- Meet and exceed monthly targets for outbound calls, emails, and other creative engagement strategies to generate sales-qualified opportunities.
- Collaborate actively as part of the sales development team and with cross-functional departments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Preferably two or more years of outbound B2B sales experience.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Highly persistent with a positive attitude toward sales challenges.
- Aspirations to build a career in technology sales with a strong motivation to succeed.
- Experience in establishing initial communication and engagement with prospects.
- Software sales experience is a significant advantage.
