Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and diligent Housekeeper to join the on-site accommodation team in Chirk, Wales. This role involves maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for employees and contractors within a 24-bedroom accommodation facility. Collaboration with the wider team to uphold high standards is essential.

Primary Duties

• Thoroughly clean and maintain bedrooms and shared areas to ensure safety, hygiene, and excellent presentation.
• Handle all laundry processes including collecting, washing, drying, ironing, and distributing bedding and towels while preserving strict hygiene standards.
• Prepare bedrooms for incoming residents and manage turnover following departures.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns or damages requiring repair.
• Adhere to accommodation policies, procedures, and house regulations.
• Participate in room inspections and routine facility upkeep.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations, fire safety protocols, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support stock management of cleaning agents, linen, and consumables.
• Provide occasional assistance to additional accommodation properties within the estate.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or related hospitality/residential environments is vital.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to creating a neat and attractive environment.
• Dependable, hardworking, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
• Effective communication skills combined with a friendly and customer-centric demeanor.
• Competent time management ensuring consistent task completion.
• Knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety, fire safety, and hygiene requirements.
• Flexible and proactive, willing to assist at various accommodation sites as necessary.
