Access Management Supervisor

Overview

This role involves independently leading work operations with minor guidance, focused on achieving long-term objectives. The position oversees the execution of operational plans and enhances policies, procedures, standards, and reporting related to IT security access management. The incumbent is responsible for managing IT security access operations and maintenance, providing expert input on new implementations and modification requests, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommending improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay current on IT security access management trends, comprehend business needs, and develop comprehensive IT security access guidelines, policies, and procedures to secure the IT environment.
• Operate and maintain IT security access systems in line with operational standards, managing identity, authentication, and authorization across networks, solutions, systems, applications, and devices.
• Collect and document identity information for all users and manage the full lifecycle of access, identities, and accounts.
• Process requests for granting, modifying, or restricting access rights to services, systems, and devices, ensuring round-the-clock business support.
• Manage and resolve IT security access incidents and escalated tickets promptly within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Evaluate change requests related to IT security access by conducting impact analyses, scheduling implementations, and measuring effectiveness.
• Monitor system, device, and application access, report any issues, and provide improvement recommendations.
• Analyze IT security access performance against KPIs, identify gaps, and generate regular reports with corrective action plans to mitigate risks.
• Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures to ensure consistent and controlled operations.
• Assist in resolving escalated issues and support junior team members to maintain operational efficiency.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel to ensure proper resolution.
• Train junior staff by sharing expertise to ensure knowledge transfer.
• Provide clear task direction, prioritize work, delegate responsibilities, and supervise junior staff workload.
• Offer support to direct reports to help them perform their duties in line with established policies and processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is mandatory.
• Master’s degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or an equivalent is preferred.
• Approximately eight years of relevant experience, including at least three years in a managerial capacity.
