Role Overview

The Academic Director will be responsible for shaping the academic strategy of the Academy, with a focus on vocational and defense education disciplines including Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical studies. This leadership position demands oversight of curriculum innovation aligned with current industry standards and technological advances. The director will manage a faculty team, fostering an environment that promotes academic excellence and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all academic-related operations and functions within the Academy.
• Provide strategic leadership for the Academy's development and ongoing growth.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead and support the academic staff to effectively meet educational and training goals.
• Continuously monitor strategic risks and opportunities in line with the Academy’s strategic objectives.
• Ensure that academic delivery meets high standards consistent with the Academy’s vision.
• Drive the strategic planning initiatives with collaboration from the wider LCI team.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base monthly salary: SAR 40,000
• Housing allowance: SAR 10,000 per month
• Transportation allowance: SAR 1,000 per month
• Flights allowance: SAR 1,000 per month
• Mobilization and demobilization flights coverage

• 30 days annual leave plus official Saudi Arabian national holidays

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree in Education is mandatory.
• Proven experience in managing TVET institutions achieving high student outcomes.
• Strong background in strategic program management.
• Prior work experience in Saudi Arabia and/or the Levant region.
• Demonstrable expertise in academic leadership, curriculum design, and accreditation processes.
• Visionary approach with enthusiasm for advancing educational technologies.
• Exemplary leadership skills to develop and inspire teaching staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse set of stakeholders including students, faculty, alumni, and community partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in Education, Curriculum Development, or Instructional Design.
• Master of Business Administration.
• Experience leading quality assurance frameworks.
• At least 10 years in senior leadership positions.
