4D Planner

Overview

An exciting position has opened within the UK North division of John Sisk & Son Ltd for a 4D Infrastructure Planner. This role is centered around working on civil engineering projects across UK and Ireland and joining a dynamic, expanding team. The job location is based at the Warrington office. The successful candidate will enhance company capabilities by championing advanced 4D Planning methodologies, acting as the go-to expert in 4D techniques.

The preferred applicant should hold a relevant degree in construction, possess over three years of experience in the construction sector, and demonstrate strong proficiency with 4D construction scheduling software such as SYNCHRO Pro. Advanced 3D modeling skills using the Autodesk software suite are also essential, with particular emphasis on Civil 3D expertise. Candidates are expected to have extensive experience with infrastructure projects, including areas like highways, rail, earthworks, drainage, and utilities, capable of leveraging design models to facilitate 4D planning.

Responsibilities

• Construct core 4D models for all project phases.
• Promote and provide support for 4D planning across the business, both technically and through cultural adoption.
• Manage and develop project-related information to integrate into the 4D processes.
• Organize and lead regular team workshops focused on 4D model development and updates.
