About the Internship

This internship is with Voyagio, a premium travel startup dedicated to creating meaningful journeys that delve into culture, storytelling, and authentic local experiences. The role focuses on trip operations, travel planning, customer experience, and product design, offering hands-on involvement in ensuring seamless travel experiences. Exceptional performance during the internship may lead to a full-time position, either remote or Mumbai-based.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research on destinations, accommodations, activities, and local experiences.
• Develop and refine engaging, practical, and well-timed itineraries.
• Compare various hotel, transport, and activity providers to select optimal options.
• Coordinate with hotels, guides, transport vendors, and partner organizations.
• Request supplier quotations and negotiate competitive rates.
• Handle bookings, confirmations, and maintain operational trackers and checklists.
• Prepare rooming lists and traveler information sheets.
• Organize airport transfers, local transportation, restaurant, and activity reservations.
• Assist with visa and travel document preparations.
• Facilitate traveler communication pre-departure and manage group messaging platforms.
• Compile detailed trip run sheets and track vendor payments and expenses.
• Reconcile trip budgets post-completion and support customized trip inquiries.
• Create tailored hotel and itinerary options for individual clients.
• Address last-minute operational challenges and contribute to building SOPs for future trips.
• Gather traveler feedback to continually enhance trip offerings.

Types of Travel Managed

• Group Trips: Manage trip readiness, vendor coordination, traveler communication, group logistics, rooming arrangements, transfers, activities, on-ground execution, cost control, and post-trip feedback.
• Customized Trips: Understand traveler needs, conduct destination research, design itineraries, recommend hotels and activities, obtain supplier quotations, manage costing, booking coordination, travel documentation, and provide support during trips.

Who Can Apply

• Applicants must be available for a work-from-home internship starting between August 29, 2026, and October 3, 2026.
• Must commit to a two-month internship duration.
• Should possess relevant skills and a keen interest in travel planning.

Stipend and Benefits

• Monthly stipend ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹18,000.
• Flexible working hours and a five-day workweek.
• Certificate and letter of recommendation upon completion.
