About Starlit Ability Enhancement Services
Starlit Ability Enhancement Services is a Mumbai-based for-profit organization delivering specialized psychological support to children facing developmental challenges such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and Down syndrome. We provide services directly at schools or through personalized counseling at home, employing evidence-based intervention approaches to improve social and academic behaviors aligned with defined objectives. Recognized as an 'Innovative Startup' under the Government of India's Startup India Program, we offer immersive practical opportunities for individuals eager to gain experience addressing diverse developmental, behavioral, social communication, and attention-related issues.
Internship Role and Responsibilities
- Execute individualized, self-designed sessions concentrating on diverse child development domains including behavior management, remedial education, sensory integration, social interactions, cognition, emotional regulation, and everyday living skills.
- Establish trustful, patient rapport with children, respecting their pace of engagement.
- Develop and implement tailored intervention strategies aimed at meeting specific emotional, behavioral, and developmental milestones.
- Work in close partnership with senior psychologists for guidance, case supervision, and reflective practice.
- Gain confidence in independently leading sessions under ongoing senior mentorship and support.
Requirements and Eligibility
- Availability for a full-time, in-office internship tenure of six months.
- Starting the internship anytime between 5th September 2026 and 10th October 2026.
- Relevant skills and interests aligned with psychological and child behavioral interventions.
