About the Internship
This internship offers a comprehensive experience in coordinating hand-knitting workshops and related events. The intern will engage with academic institutions to initiate collaborations, facilitate event planning and execution, and manage various logistical aspects including budgeting and vendor relations. Marketing efforts using email and WhatsApp will also be part of the role, alongside maintaining accurate records and conducting necessary travel to colleges and universities.
Key Responsibilities
- Outreach to colleges and universities to establish event and workshop partnerships.
- Liaising with faculty, administrative staff, and student groups to organize and carry out activities.
- Planning and leading hand-knitting workshops and organizing student registration drives.
- Handling event logistics such as budgeting, vendor coordination, and onsite execution.
- Executing marketing campaigns via email and WhatsApp to promote events.
- Consistently following up with educational institutions, students, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Accurately documenting event details, registrations, and outreach efforts.
- Traveling as necessary to various campuses to support workshops and field activities.

Compensation and Perks
