About the Internship
This internship offers an opportunity to actively participate in sourcing and market research focused on hand-knit yarns throughout India. The chosen candidate will engage in identifying potential suppliers, reaching out to manufacturers and traders, compiling product and pricing details, and developing a structured vendor database. Effective communication, diligent follow-up, and foundational expertise in textiles are essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyze various suppliers and markets specializing in hand-knit yarns across India.
- Engage with vendors, manufacturers, and traders using phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, and online communication channels.
- Build and nurture relationships with new suppliers and manufacturers.
- Gather detailed data on yarn and fabric characteristics including types, composition, counts, GSM, width, quality standards, pricing, and minimum order quantities.
- Regularly follow up with vendors for quotations, sample availability, and other pertinent updates.
- Stay informed about emerging textile materials, supplier options, and prevailing market patterns.
- Maintain and systematically update a comprehensive vendor and product database for ease of access and tracking.
Candidate Eligibility
- Availability for a full-time internship based at the Gurgaon office.
- Internship start date must fall between September 23, 2026, and October 28, 2026.
- Commitment to a six-month internship duration.
- Possess relevant research and analytical skills along with interest in textile-related domains.
Additional Requirements
- Basic understanding of knitting yarns and textile materials.
- Proficiency in research methodologies and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) tools is an advantage.
- Comfortable making numerous vendor communications across India.
- Strong verbal and written communication coupled with effective follow-up abilities.
- Prior exposure to textile sourcing, merchandising, fashion, or vendor research is preferred.
- Candidates should be located in Gurgaon or willing to relocate as per role requirements.

Compensation and Perks
