About the Internship
Join EkStep as a Human Resources intern and contribute to solving the critical challenge of limited learning opportunities in India. The organization focuses on enhancing literacy and numeracy by fostering collaborations among civil society, governments, and private sectors to create impactful public resources and share knowledge efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the program team to oversee and facilitate daily operations.
- Assist and guide schools in implementing various designated programs effectively.
- Independently manage assigned schools to ensure seamless activity execution.
- Handle manpower planning including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and employee engagement activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be able to commit to a full-time, in-office internship lasting 6 months, starting anytime between September 23 and October 28, 2026. Relevant skills and interests aligned with the role are essential.
Additional Requirements
- At least 6 months’ experience in tutoring or working within a school or NGO environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to establish trust and strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven organizational skills and capability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to work independently while being an effective team member.
- Proficiency in both English and Kannada languages.
