We seek native Gujarati speakers to participate in a part-time remote internship focused on annotating and transcribing Gujarati text found in images. The core responsibilities encompass accurately creating bounding boxes around text areas and precisely transcribing the text as shown.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate precise bounding boxes around Gujarati text present in image files.
- Copy the Gujarati text exactly as it appears for transcription purposes.
- Adhere strictly to outlined project instructions and quality standards.
- Ensure high accuracy and consistency throughout the annotation process.
- Review and amend any annotations as needed to maintain quality.
Candidate Eligibility and Requirements
- Must be a native or fluent speaker of Gujarati with strong reading and typing abilities.
- Attention to detail is critical to preserve the correctness of annotations and transcriptions.
- Applicants should have access to a laptop or desktop equipped with a reliable internet connection.
- Previous experience in annotation or transcription is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Available to work remotely commencing between 17th September and 22nd October 2026.
- Commitment to a 2-week duration to complete the assignment (7-10 days project timeline).
