Odia Handwritten Data Collection Intern - iPhone Users Only (Work From Home, Part Time)

Internship Overview

We are seeking native Odia speakers to participate in a remote internship focused on gathering Live Photos of naturally handwritten Odia text using qualified iPhones or iPads. The data collected will contribute to enhancing AI and language technology capabilities.

Daily Responsibilities

• Collecting genuine handwritten Odia text found from various everyday sources.
• Photographing handwritten notes, memos, and to-do lists.
• Capturing handwritten letters and greeting cards.
• Documenting handwritten recipes.
• Gathering diary and journal handwritten entries.
• Collecting forms and tables containing handwritten Odia content.
• Photographing flyers and other naturally available handwritten materials.
• Ensuring every submission adheres to the project's quality and guideline standards.
• Concealing or removing any personal or sensitive details prior to submission.

Candidate Eligibility

• Must be a native or proficient Odia speaker.
• Must be aged 18 years or older.
• Residing within India during the internship period.
• Must have an iPhone XR or a newer model iPhone/iPad capable of capturing Live Photos with the rear camera.
• Capable of providing at least 50 approved images that are authentic and naturally occurring (no AI-generated or artificially created content allowed).
• Committed to completing a 2-month internship remotely with flexibility in work hours.

• Only images adhering to project guidelines and passing approval will count towards completion.
• A minimum of 50 approved images is required to qualify for stipend payment.
