Internship for Gujarati Handwritten Data Collection – iPhone Users Only (Work From Home, Part Time)

About the Internship

We invite Gujarati-speaking individuals to participate in collecting Live Photos featuring handwritten Gujarati content encountered naturally around them, using an eligible iPhone or iPad device. This data contribution will support advancements in AI and language technology applications.

Daily Responsibilities

• Gathering naturally written Gujarati content from day-to-day environments
• Photographing handwritten notes, memos, and task lists
• Capturing handwritten letters and greeting cards
• Documenting handwritten recipes
• Collecting handwritten diary and journal entries
• Photographing handwritten forms and tabular data
• Capturing flyers and other everyday handwritten materials

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be available for remote work and able to begin between September 21 and October 26, 2026
• Commitment to a two-month internship duration
• Possess skills and interests relevant to the role
• Women seeking to start or resume their careers are explicitly encouraged to apply

Additional Requirements

• Native or fluent speakers of Gujarati
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ownership of an iPhone XR or newer iPhone/iPad that supports Live Photo capture with the rear camera
• Must reside in India and be at least 18 years old
• Capability to submit a minimum of 50 approved, authentic, naturally occurring images (no AI-generated or staged content)
• Removal or concealment of any personal or sensitive information prior to submission is mandatory

Compensation and Benefits

Participants will receive a monthly stipend between INR 3,000 and INR 7,000. Additionally, they will be awarded a certificate upon successful completion. Flexible working hours accommodate participant schedules.
