About the Internship
This internship involves gathering authentic handwritten Punjabi content through Live Photos captured on an iPhone. The project supports the advancement of AI, language, and handwriting recognition technologies. Interns are expected to capture naturally occurring handwritten materials across various everyday contexts to create valuable datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Photograph real handwritten Punjabi content from daily environments using an iPhone.
- Capture personal notes, reminders, letters, greeting cards, recipes, diaries, journals, forms, lists, tables, flyers, and notices.
- Ensure all images contain genuine handwritten material free from artificially created or AI-generated content.
- Carefully review images before submitting to confirm adherence to guidelines.
- Remove or obscure any personal, private, or sensitive information from submitted images.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a native or fluent Punjabi speaker.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate data collection.
- Ownership of an iPhone XR or newer iPhone/iPad device capable of capturing Live Photos with the rear camera.
- Candidates should be 18 years or older and currently living in India.
- Ability to submit a minimum of 50 approved images meeting quality standards.
Additional Information

- Interns must commit to the full two-month duration.
- Compensation is provided after the approval of at least 50 submitted images.
